Crate & Barrel coming to Ross Park

The owner of Ross Park Mall made it official this morning that a 26,800-square-foot Crate & Barrel store will be built up against the L.L. Bean store next to the enclosed shopping center.
Simon Property Group Inc., of Indianapolis, is promising the new home goods store should be open for the year-end holiday shopping season.
The store will be the first in the region for the chain, which started out in Chicago.
Its arrival will mark another win for the North Hills mall, which has landed a number of stores unique to the region since signing up department store Nordstrom a couple of years ago, including Tiffany's, Kate Spade and Metropark.
Later this year, the mall is also expected to get a new restaurant, California Pizza Kitchen, and an Apple store. Simon officials could not comment on that but Ross officials have received permitting paperwork and the two businesses are advertising for employees.
