Let the Super Bowl bets begin.

Pittsburgh City Council President Darlene Harris today announced the terms of a friendly game-day wager with Green Bay Council President Thomas De Wane.

If the Packers beat the Steelers in Dallas on Feb. 6, Mrs. Harris will wear a Packers jersey for an entire televised council meeting and send Mr. De Wane a basket of Pittsburgh treats.

If the Steelers prevail, Mr. De Wane will wear a Steelers jersey during a televised Green Bay council meeting and send Mrs. Harris some Wisconsin cheese or another "representative treat."

"Please let me know your address so I can be prepared to overnight the Steelers shirt at the appropriate time," Mrs. Harris told her counterpart in an e-mail today.
