Penguins forward Mike Comrie will return to the lineup tonight for a game against the New Jersey Devils at Consol Energy Center.
Comrie hasn't played since Nov. 24. He had hip surgery Dec. 29.
He will take the lineup spot of center Dustin Jeffrey, who got an apparent right leg injury Thursday night in Philadelphia. Jeffrey had not seen team doctors as of early this afternoon.
Comrie is slated to play at left wing, with Mike Rupp moving from wing to center.
In addition, goaltender Brent Johnson remains day to day because of a minor injury, so rookie Brad Thiessen is expected to back up Marc-Andre Fleury for the second night in a row.
