MADISON, Wis. -- A Wisconsin appeals court has upheld a restraining order that bans a woman from attending Major League Baseball games where Bob Uecker is announcing.

A court commissioner issued the four-year injunction against Ann Ladd of Prospect Heights, Ill., after the voice of the Milwaukee Brewers complained the woman harassed and stalked him for years.

Mr. Uecker said Ms. Ladd approached him after games he worked, hiding and then jumping out unexpectedly to talk to him. She once followed him to a road series between the Brewers and Pittsburgh Pirates, staying on the same floor of his hotel and finding him at the pool.

Ms. Ladd argued the restraining order violated her constitutional right to travel, but the District 1 Court of Appeals disagreed yesterday. Her attorney, Paul Bucher, declined comment.
