Big blaze battled in Bridgeville

Firefighters battled a blaze in Bridgeville this morning that destroyed an apartment building and spread to a neighboring structure.
An emergency dispatch supervisor said the fire at 667 Baldwin Street broke out at about 3:40 a.m. today.
The fire was under control by 7:30 a.m. and crews were being summoned to take down what remained of the building, the supervisor said.
One firefighter, complaining that he was feeling ill, was transported to St. Clair Hospital. Mt. Lebanon. There were no injuries.
