A man who police say was one of three gunmen who fired shots into a Duquesne apartment last month faces trial on charges that he killed a 16-year-old boy and wounded two of his relatives.
District Judge Dennis Joyce held Eric Barlow, 21, of Duquesne, for court at a preliminary hearing this morning on charges including homicide, attempted homicide and seven counts of reckless endangerment in the Jan. 14 killing of Daniel Peek on Duquesne Place Drive.
Bullets also hit Mr. Peek's brother, 14-year-old Isaac Peek, and cousin, Tamiko Wright, 35, when police say the trio shot through the apartment's front door.
County police continue to seek two other men in the attack.
Deputy District Attorney Mark V. Tranquilli urged people to come forward with information.
"Come forward and give us some information on how we can get the other two shooters off the streets ... Your community is not safe right now," he said. "We need help from the entire community to bring this case to a close."
