The Women's Golf Association of Western Pennsylvania celebrated its 90th anniversary Tuesday night at Oakmont Country Club, where it was founded. World Golf Hall of Famer Carol Semple Thompson played in the weeklong championship with the best amateur players in Western Pennsylvania. Oakmont's head golf pro, Bob Ford, congratulated the WGAWP members and was one of the guest speakers along with Ms. Thompson. Mary Mackey and Patty Kegel chaired the dinner.
