The Mattress Factory kicked off its 2013 Urban Garden Party with a reception Tuesday attended by party chairs Anne and Anuj Dhanda. This year's theme is "Soul Factory," an homage to Motown and a nod to the fall exhibition, "Detroit Artists in Residence." The Urban Garden Party will be held June 21, and tickets to the event (always a sell-out) are on sale now at mattress.org for $100 or $250 VIP. Buy before March 12 and get two for $160.
