With whiskey and wine the evening was bound to be divine. While both were available during the 14th annual Twelfth Night party to benefit Chatham Baroque, nothing but the talent of the musicians was necessary to transport the audience Saturday night.

The evening began with a VIP reception in the Pittsburgh Athletic Association's second-floor library. It included a whiskey tasting provided by Iain Campbell in full Highland dress, and a wine tasting served up by Grapenuts' Tracey and John Mahood. Once the main party got under way and the ballroom began to fill with more than 200 guests, the buffet opened and guests could buy raffle tickets or bid on an ample supply of silent auction items. The first of two performances by Chatham Baroque musicians Patricia Halverson, Scott Pauley and Andrew Fouts took place in an intimate space across the hall.

Among the bidders, sippers and music lovers were executive director Marc Giosi, event chairs Shannon Webber (with Andrew) and Brian Harrigan (with Paul Hettler), host committee chairs Kathy and Dave Fawcett, Rebecca Himberger, Kimberly Francis, Dr. Kenneth Glick, Dave Bennett with Nancy McKee, Sean Brady, Manny and Debra Reich and Larry Leahy. As they say, "It's a party 300 years in the making."
