The Allegheny County Committee of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania held its annual dinner meeting last Tuesday. The NSCDA was founded in 1891 and is headquartered in Philadelphia. State president Peggy Shaver came in for the event at the Pittsburgh Golf Club and joined Pittsburgh president Elizabeth Hobbs. The restoration and maintenance of the Gen. John Neville House (Woodville Plantation) is among the historic preservation projects NSCDA is involved in locally.
