Between the newest foreign cars and dining stations labeled with the country name of the cuisine, guests at Thursday's 2013 Red CARpet Charity Preview Gala got to travel around the world.
They turned out in force to help raise funds for Austin's Playroom Project, an initiative of the Mario Lemieux Foundation.
Mario and Nathalie Lemieux were on hand to serve as honorary chairs, and foundation president Tom Grealish joined Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Foundation chair Gregg Semel, Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Association CEO John Putzier and a host of board members, car dealers and potential car buyers.
A private preview of the 2013 Pittsburgh International Auto Show, which filled two floors of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, kept guests circulating after the ribbon-cutting and before desserts and dancing put a spin on the evening.
Enjoying the show were Bishop David Zubik, Bob and Lisa Pompeani, Charlie and Latasha Batch, city Councilman Bill Peduto, Louis Lipps, Pierre and Cindi Larouche, Rob and Christina Cochran, Ilene Ross, Dave and Kelly Rohrich, Mark, Bud and Jeff Smail, Mark and Lisa Eck, and Bud Green.
