Pittsburgh's political and academic elite gathered Thursday at the historic Highland Park home of Larry Davis, dean of the School of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh, who hosted a reception for William J. Carter as Pitt Law School's new dean. Sheila Rathke, Fred Thieman and Chris Moore were among those there to welcome Mr. Carter.
