The quirky, cool Q-Ball to benefit Quantum Theatre had more than 300 people immersed in the performance of art and the art of performance at Bakery Square Saturday night.
The evening began with a completely enclosed red maze, which guests waited in line to experience. Once inside, the unexpected was around each corner. Belly dancers, a man in a tub and musicians were among the displays of awesome creativity.
Quantum founder Karla Boos thanked her board chair Dave DeSimone and event chair Manny Reich (Debra was unable to attend) for their efforts before auctioneer Marty Davis encouraged bidding. Among the many were Vivian and Bill Benter, Ken McCrory, Richard Parsakian and Larry Leahy.
