More than 300 thirsty guests showed up for the third annual Pour for a Cure, a beer tasting to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Beer stations serving 27 beers from around the world circled the perimeter of the PPG Wintergarden Thursday, including Organic Chocolate Stout from Samuel Smith's English Brewery and UFO White from Harpoon brewery in Boston. The beers and lagers were paired with food to stimulate the palate. DJ Mike Ley kept it lively while everyone checked out the auction. The popular event is presented by the society's Professional Youth Board. Enjoying the sipping and socializing were PY board president Justin Conrad, Angela Carr, Alice Thompson with Jay Simpson, Tom Donahue, Michael and Alyson Joyce, Ryan McKenna, Ed Haubrick and Lindsay Weichler.
