There is nothing fragile about the support The Pittsburgh Glass Center's annual Art on Fire benefit gets. Once again the American Eagle Outfitters corporate cafeteria was the venue for a great evening of glass art auction and a grazing feast. Palate pairings of wine and food from around the world tied into artist John Kiley's inclamos technique, which joins two blown glass vessels of different colors. He was the honorary chair with John and Kim Dingess. Bidding and browsing were glass center director Heather McElwee, Marshall and Wallis Katz, Kathe and Jim Patrinos, Cate Linn, Dennis Huber and Faye Sampson, Mary Beth Johnson, Mike and Debbie Barbarita, Russ Kemerer, Eric Shiner and about 440 others.
