With a cast that changes and an endless assortment of deserving targets, "Off the Record" has earned its place as the greatest one-night stand in local politics -- er, make that theater?

This year's "Off the Record XII: Reassess This!" was no exception as it entertained a packed house on Thursday at the Byham. Pre-buttalists Rich Fitzgerald and Tim Stevens joined emcee Ken Rice of KDKA-TV (who was pre-empted by WPXI's David Johnson) for a rousing year in review.

The musical satire stars members of the Newspaper Guild and SAG-AFTRA, with proceeds from the benefit going to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank headed by Lisa Scales. Gregory Lehane directed the production written by the PG's Gary Rotstein and produced by Chris Rawson, with a host of talented lyricists contributing some unforgettable tunes.
