Hello Bully's third annual Lovers Not Fighters Gala honored 200 pitbulls rescued last year from a dogfighting ring in Ohio. None of the dogs was on hand Saturday for the party at the Zen Social Club, but some of their rescuers were. Chris Schindler of the Humane Society of the United States thanked Hello Bully president Daisy Balawejder and nearly 40 local volunteers who helped with the rescue and found homes for 11 dogs.
