Getting groovy at the Westin Convention Center Wednesday night were the nearly 300 guests of the annual Gateway Rehab Center's gala, "Hope Has a Home." The party was a 40th anniversary blowout, celebrating 1972, the year Gateway opened. Founder Dr. Abraham Twerski came to mark the occasion along with guest speaker Steve Ford, actor and son of former President Gerald R. Ford. The Betty Ford Center is named after his mother. It was announced that Gateway Rehab's Research Institute would be named after retiring CEO Ken Ramsey (with Pam). Among those applauding were Jim Rogal with Lori Cardille, board chair Paul Sweeney with JoAnn Ralston, Alina and Joe Massaro, Judy and Ron Owen and Sister Ann Carville.
