Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens was the setting for the 13th annual Gala to benefit ABOARD's Autism Connection of Pennsylvania Saturday night. More than 250 guests partied among the plants, including the two Grandin Award finalists Janice Bollman-Trout and Joseph Kleppick and award winner Jillian Zacks. Honorary chair of the event, which honored Giant Eagle for its practice of hiring and retaining employees with disabilities, was John Lovelace. Accepting for the grocery chain was Joe Lucot. Cocktails, dinner stations, entertainment and a silent auction kept the party lively.
