In 1910, the FROGS (Friendly Rivalry Often Generates Success) was founded as an African-American men's group designed for camaraderie and fun. More than a century later, the fun continues. The annual FROGS Formal was held Saturday at the Wyndham Grand, where Stephanie May Sheffield was crowned FROGS Queen. More than 300 enjoyed the Kevin Howard Quartet and Artistree for dancing during dinner. Among those feeling the joy were president Clarence Curry Jr., Elaine and Edmund Effort, Thomas Motley and Darryl Robinson.
