While the charming spirit of island life was the decorative theme at the Ellis Armory during the Friends of Hopital Albert Schweitzer benefit Friday night, it was the endless need for good medical care that drew several hundred guests to H'Art & Soul of Haiti 2011. Honored for his work in Haiti, Dr. Ralph Greco joked that he could demonstrate his surgical talents on a willing guest. He is also a lover of Haitian art, which was on sale during the party, with proceeds going to the hospital. Among the supporters enjoying the sounds of the Boilermakers and special coconut concoctions were president of HAS Lucy Rawson with Ian (managing director of HAS), Elsie Hillman and Louise Stephaich of Palm Beach, Tim and Audrey Fisher, Dr. Fred and Katy Sherman, Richard Burkland, Nancy Scarton, Ann Wardrop and Allison Wardrop, B.J. and Jeff Leber, Terri and Chris Snavely and Kitty Hillman. Turning the armory into a little Haitian village was Rob Long of Clear Story, The Flower Barn and Scott Nealson. --
