Preventing pets from getting lost is high on every animal-lover's wish list. The Tagg pet tracking system uses GPS to monitor an animal's exact location and movements.
The Tagg device attaches to pet collars. When a dog -- or cat -- wanders from its designated zone, the owner is notified by text or email, and a map pinpoints the animal's location on computers and compatible mobile phones. It also tracks activity, so owners can see if their pets are getting enough exercise. Price: $99.95, plus $7.95 monthly monitoring fee after the first three months.
