It's not even December, but we're already deep into listening to our favorite holiday music.

According to music/radio aggregator TuneIn, we in Pennsylvania love our streaming Christmas music. With search requests used as a basis, turns out higher than average listening habits are found here, in Ohio and in Michigan.

Worldwide, leaders are the United States, Canada and Japan. (A fun aside: Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" is a big hit in Japan as a ghost story.)

Domestically, the most-searched-for holiday song among TuneIn's 40 million active listeners is "White Christmas," and Bing Crosby was the most searched-for holiday artist.

Rounding out the top five TuneIn holiday songs: "All I Want for Christmas (Is You)," "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting ...)," "Let It Snow" and "Blue Christmas." Elvis lives!

Of course, for every survey, there is a different spin. The Hollywood Reporter cited a top five of CBS Radio holiday hits from 2011, and leading the way was John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)."

Only 30 more shopping days ... that's a lot of "Sleigh Bells."
