Get a dose of Oscars glam a couple of days early with QVC's "Red Carpet STYLE" special 9 p.m. Friday live from the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.

The broadcast will take viewers behind the scenes of the making of red carpet looks, plus premiere new apparel and accessories. Jen Rade, stylist to celebs such as Angelina Jolie, will debut her ready-to-wear line, Edge by Jen Rade. Jennifer Hudson, Heidi Klum and Nicole Richie also will share the latest from their lines.

Learn how to get a beauty boost with products from stila cosmetics, Drybar, Bare Escentuals, Kate Somerville and more. Plus, what would an award show special be without red carpet critic/comedian Joan Rivers?

Macy's honors photographer Gordon Parks: Commemorate Black History Month at 5 p.m. Thursday in a conversation about the life and work of Gordon Parks with actor Terrell Tilford, actress Malinda Williams and Emmy-winning producer Emmai Alaquiva, emceed by writer/producer Joseph Lewis. It will take place on the main floor of Macy's, Downtown, where an installation featuring images by Parks has been on display this month. RSVP at 1-888-622-9769. Last call for Pittsburgh Fashion Hall of Fame nominations: The deadline to nominate candidates for the 2013 Pittsburgh Fashion Hall of Fame class is Wednesday. Nominations can be sent to halloffame@pittsburghfashionweek.com or Pittsburgh Fashion Week, Box 17947, Pittsburgh 15235, and must include the nominee's name, contact information and explanation of why he or she is considered worthy of the honor, preferably written in a bullet point format.

Nominees must have at least 10 years of experience in the fashion or beauty industry and ties to Pittsburgh to qualify. The hall of fame also will recognize this year for the first time an up-and-coming member of the Pittsburgh fashion community with its Exceptional Artist Award. This person should exhibit traits similar to the hall of fame nominees. Honorees will be announced in March and recognized at a luncheon at the Omni William Penn Hotel, Downtown, Sept. 29, the last day of Pittsburgh Fashion Week. Bella Bridesmaid comes to Pittsburgh: The first Bella Bridesmaid franchise in Pittsburgh is open at 1752 N. Highland Road, Bethel Park. The shop offers stylish, modern bridesmaid gowns from collections such as Jenny Yoo, Joanna August, Amsale, Donna Morgan, Coren Moore and twobirds Bridesmaids.

Marc Jacobs teams up with Diet Coke: Famed fashion designer Marc Jacobs has been named creative director for Coca Cola. For the drink's 30th anniversary, Mr. Jacobs has designed a limited-edition look for the cans for each decade. He's also bared his tattooed arms and chest in an ad campaign for the beverage.
