The third annual Grandview Park Farm Dinner will unfold outdoors in Grandview Park in Mount Washington, overlooking Downtown, starting at 5 p.m. Aug. 19. The event begins with a cocktail hour and proceeds to a five-course meal -- featuring food that's in season then -- prepared by chef Justin Severino of Cure restaurant. Tickets are $85 and only 150 people can get them (the last two dinners sold out). Proceeds benefit the Friends of Grandview Park. Cure's Justin Severino also is organizing another outdoor meal, an "Italian BBQ on the Farm," starting at 3 p.m. Aug. 12. Joining him will be chefs Sam DiBattista of Vivo and Bite Bistro, Michele Savoia of Dish Osteria, Domenic Branduzzi of Picolo Forno, and Stephen Felder of Stagioni. Open for lunch: Luke Wholey's Wild Alaskan Grille at 2106 Penn Ave. Luke was outside there this past weekend, grilling salmon, shrimp and other seafood to serve with grilled veggies and rice like he used to do in front of Wholey's market up Penn.
