Find your fish fry

Before I moved to Pittsburgh, I never had been to a church fish fry. Not just in Pittsburgh. Ever.

A colleague forwarded the "Map of Fish Fries" for people like me who are horrendous with direction. This work-in-progress began last year by Hollen Barmer of Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute (here's a link with the Pittsburgh Catholic newspapers list of parish fish frys: www.pittsburghcatholic.org/fishfry.php).

Another friend invited me to the Pittsburgh Lenten Fish Fry Society on Facebook. I have yet to meet with its members.

I read about fish fries to learn which ones serve halushki, pierogies, baked goods and beer.

I still have questions. Where are your favorites? Head over to The Forks blog to weigh in.
