Flashlight and Battery Set

BJ's Wholesale Club Inc., of Westborough, Mass., is recalling about 41,000 Superex SAFETO GO LED flashlight and battery sets because the flashlights can heat up, smoke or melt when turned on, posing fire and burn hazards.

The words "Superex," "SAFETO GO Family Pack," and "Bright White LED Flashlights" appear on the front of the packaging. The UPC 0-56986-01008-3 is printed on the back of the packaging along with the SKU number 700935.

They were sold at BJ's Wholesale Clubs from July 2011 through December 2011 for about $15. Consumers should return them to any BJ's Wholesale Club for a full refund.

Snowmobiles

Arctic Cat Inc., of Thief River Falls, Minn., is recalling about 19,000 snowmobiles because the lower steering tie-rod attachment can loosen and cause loss of steering control, posing a crash hazard.

The recall involves the 2012 model year of the F, XF, and M model snowmobiles.

They were sold at Arctic Cat dealerships nationwide from May 2011 through December 2011 for between $10,500 and $14,500. Consumers should contact an Arctic Cat snowmobile dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair.

Power Strips

The Container Store Inc., of Coppell, Texas, is recalling about 7,200 Lush Life power strips because they have undersized wiring, and the wiring and plastic strip fail to meet the requirements for fire resistance, posing a fire hazard.

The recall involves three designs of brightly-colored, six-outlet power strips with model number 8001-6 embossed on the back. "Lush Life power strips by design" is printed on the product's packaging.

They were sold at Container Stores nationwide and on the firm's website www.containerstore.com from October 2011 through December 2011 for about $15. Consumers should return them to a Container Store location for a full refund plus a $15 merchandise card.
