When Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer sent a memo to employees earlier this week abolishing the Internet company's work-from-home policy, the reaction was immediate.

A memo explaining the policy change, from the company's human resources department, cited the importance of face-to-face interaction for a collaborative environment.

Many companies have robust work-from-home programs, others prohibit the practice entirely, and some blend the two with a combination of working from home for some employees, some of the time.

We want to know: What do you think? Does your company allow working from home? Why or why not? Would you work from home if you had the option?

Tell us what you think in the comments section below. We may round up some of the comments for a future online story.
