Nominate your 'Top Workplace' in the greater Pittsburgh region

Creating a workplace where employees are engaged and the company thrives doesn't happen by accident.
Ask Rob Cochran, Kim Tillotson Fleming or Harvey Pollack. The leaders of #1 Cochran, Hefren-Tillotson Inc. and PT Marketing Group, respectively, were honored last year as the region's best leaders in the second annual Post-Gazette Top Workplaces section, which can be seen online at http://www.post-gazette.com/business/topworkplaces2012/
It's no surprise that the companies they lead also were cited for workplace excellence.
If your company made the list, we are counting on your continued participation in what has become the Post-Gazette's best opportunity to recognize the employers that make our region great.
But there are many more companies that we would like to hear from. If your employer isn't on the list, ask them to participate this year.
Any employee from the CEO on down may nominate a company.
There is no cost to participate, and every organization that takes part will receive feedback on its workplace.
Nominations are open to all employers, including nonprofits and government, that have at least 50 workers in the greater Pittsburgh area, including Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland counties.
Employers will be surveyed through early April by the Post-Gazette's research partner, WorkplaceDynamics LLC, which will calculate the final list of Top Workplaces.

Only the winners are mentioned.
Top performers will be recognized in a special Post-Gazette publication on Sept. 26 and online.
There will also be a PG-sponsored special event in honor of all the winners.
