Jordan becomes longest tenured managing partner in Reed Smith's 135-year history

Gregory Jordan was elected to a fifth three-year term as global managing partner at the Pittsburgh-based global law firm Reed Smith.

Mr. Jordan, 53, was unopposed for the position, which runs through 2015.

With his re-election, Mr. Jordan holds the longest tenure as managing partner in the firm's history. The firm was founded in 1877 as Knox & Reed.

Mr. Jordan is a graduate of Bethany College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Reed Smith has about 1,700 lawyers in 23 offices worldwide.
