Delta Air Lines will add new nonstop service to New York City from Pittsburgh International Airport tomorrow.

The carrier is adding six daily flights to LaGuardia Airport, while at the same time dropping two of its five flights to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. That will mean a net gain of four flights to the Big Apple.

The Allegheny County Airport Authority will mark the start of the new flights with a gate celebration.

Delta is one of several airlines that now has nonstop service to New York from Pittsburgh. US Airways averages six nonstop flights a day to LaGuardia. JetBlue Airways has two flights a day to JFK and American Airlines has one each day to JFK.

Travelers can book the Delta LaGuardia flights at www.delta.com.
