Lynch Weis, LLC promoted William Wyrick to partner. Mr. Wyrick has been head of its litigation group since joining the firm in 2007. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, including breach of contract, injunction matters and shareholder disputes. Mr. Wyrick also assists clients in the negotiation and drafting of contracts and in the formation and governance of corporations.

Babst Calland announced the appointment of energy lawyer Arnold L. Schulberg as Of Counsel. Mr. Schulberg will assist its natural resources group from his office in West Virginia. Mr. Schulberg has 33 years of experience in providing oil, gas and mineral title opinions.
In addition, Kevin E. Feigel was hired as an associate with experience in oil, gas and mineral title law and litigation. Most recently, Mr. Feigel handled such matters for Cassidy, Kotjarapoglus & Pohland P.C. Mr. Feigel holds a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in environmental law, science and policy, and a B.S. in environmental administration from St. Vincent College.

Cohen & Grigsby hired Blaine A. Lamperski as director in the real estate practice group, where he will focus on the acquisition, sale, development and leasing of land. Mr. Lamperski also practices in the corporate, transactional, logistics and oil and gas areas. In addition to his real estate, logistics and corporate practice, Mr. Lamperski advises natural gas producers with various transactional matters related to the Marcellus Shale, including the negotiation and drafting of oil and gas leases, purchase agreements, assignments, easements and other ancillary agreements. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Mr. Lamperski was partner at K&L Gates in Pittsburgh. He holds a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.A. from Duquesne University.

Littler Mendelson, P.C. said Terrence H. Murphy, an employment lawyer, has joined its Pittsburgh office. Mr. Murphy has a broad range of experience representing employers in every type of labor and employment law, including class and individual discrimination actions, Fair Labor Standards Act collective actions and labor-management issues.
Mr. Murphy has published articles in the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, the Syracuse Law Review and the Labor Law Journal, among others, and has been a co-author of the "Employment Law Deskbook for Human Resources Professionals" (West Group, 2001 and 2005). Mr. Murphy received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, M.S. from Cornell University, and his B.A. from the University of Rochester.

After 11 years as a criminal prosecutor in Western Pennsylvania, Christopher M. Capozzi, former senior deputy attorney general for the Pennsylvania office of Attorney General, opened a private law practice.
He will represent individuals and businesses in criminal and civil matters, and provide estate planning services. Mr. Capozzi will have offices in Cranberry and Downtown.
Mr. Capozzi joined the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General in 2003 as a drug strike force attorney, and in 2006, he joined the criminal prosecutions section in the Western Region. Mr. Capozzi previously served as an assistant district attorney for Allegheny County.
Mr. Capozzi is a 1992 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center and a 1986 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.

Thorp Reed & Armstrong has elected five new partners: Christopher Day, Stacy Leshock Dee, Timothy D. Gallagher, Vincent M. Roskovensky and D. Craig Russell III.
Mr. Day concentrates his practice in complex litigation, representing clients in commercial disputes, including contract disputes, lender liability claims, shareholder oppression claims, international trade disputes, reinsurance claims and various bankruptcy adversarial proceedings.
Ms. Dee practices in the areas of commercial and real estate finance transactions.
Mr. Gallagher is a member of its general corporate/mergers and acquisitions practice group, where he represents clients in a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, securities, international business transactions, technology transactions and general corporate transactions.
Mr. Roskovensky is a member of the litigation practice group concentrating in commercial, product liability and employment matters.
Mr. Russell practices in the areas of commercial finance and real estate transactions, creditors' rights, and commercial loan restructuring and workouts.
