Burleson Cooke said the following attorneys joined the firm: Andrew Jenkins, Kevin Barley and Samuel Stoller. Mr. Jenkins joins Burleson Cooke from Thorp, Reed & Armstrong. He will concentrate his practice in the areas of business litigation, energy law, construction law, and business and contract law. Mr. Barley comes to Burleson Cooke from Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, where he practiced in the litigation services and construction services groups. He has represented clients in environmental, construction, energy, and other litigation matters. Mr. Stoller was most recently with Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott. His experience includes construction law, breach of contract claims, representing corporate officers in shareholder derivative suits, and real estate disputes.

Michael Somerhalder joined The Webb Law Firm as the firm administrator. Mr. Somerhalder will oversee the day-to-day operations as well be responsible for managing support staff, human resources, budget oversight, IT and the facility. In addition, Mr. Somerhalder will also participate in the development of long-term business strategies with the firm's directors.

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP said Sarah Engle joined as an employee benefits and executive compensation associate. Ms. Engle received her B.S. degree from Indiana State University and her J.D. from the University Pittsburgh School of Law.

Pepper Hamilton LLP hired Thomas Pietro as an associate in its commercial litigation group. Mr. Pietro received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Chaitra Gokul, an associate in the corporate and securities group, has relocated to Pittsburgh from Pepper Hamilton's Philadelphia office. Ms. Gokul received her law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
Pierre Queiroz de Oliveira joined as a technical specialist in the intellectual property group. A graduate of the University of Bath, United Kingdom, Mr. Queiroz de Oliveira holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
