Julie A. Heitzenrater has rejoined The Webb Law Firm as an intellectual property attorney, focusing on metallurgical engineering technology. Ms. Heitzenrater returns to the firm after serving as director of process and product improvement for RG Steel LLC. Ms. Heitzenrater received her J.D. from Ohio State University's law school.
Grogan Graffam, P.C. announced Leo Gerard Daly was re-elected to a three-year term on the firm's board. Mr. Daly has been a shareholder since 1991 and a member of the firm's governing board since 2000. He also chairs the litigation practice group. With over 30 years of trial experience, Mr. Daly concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, product liability, and toxic tort litigation, and related matters. He received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
Amanda B. Kraft has joined FGSM, P.C. as an associate in the firm's business litigation practice group. Ms. Kraft is a graduate of Duquesne University's law school.
Goehring, Rutter & Boehm said Derek K. Koget has joined the firm as a member of its real estate law, litigation and business law groups. He advises the firm's clients in a broad range of transactional matters, including real estate acquisitions and sales, lease negotiations, and landlord and tenant matters. He earned his J.D. from Duquesne University's law school.

Thomas Trimm has joined Dinsmore's Pittsburgh office as a partner in the firm's public finance practice group. He previously practiced in the Pittsburgh office of Pepper Hamilton LLP. Mr. Trimm focuses his practice in the areas of public finance, project finance, real estate and land use. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Attorney Harry J. Gruener of Gentile, Horoho & Avalli, P.C., was selected to receive the Chancellor's Distinguished Service Award from the University of Pittsburgh. The award recognizes Mr. Gruener's work with the University of Pittsburgh School of Law's Family Law Clinic, which he created to allow law students to assist indigent and low-income litigants in the Pittsburgh area prepare for family court. Mr. Gruener is also a professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award in 2012.
