Julian E. Gray and Frank A. Petrich , certified elder law attorneys with Julian Gray Associates, have been listed in the 2012 Best Lawyers ranking in the area of elder law.
Edward B. Gentilcore , shareholder and chair of the construction services group of Sherrard, German & Kelly, P.C., was selected by the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation to co-chair its construction litigation committee. With more than 2,300 members throughout the U.S., it is one of the fastest growing ABA committees.
Mr. Gentilcore's practice focuses on construction law and complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on construction litigation, construction contracts, green and sustainable building, and mechanics' lien matters. Mr. Gentilcore is included in The Best Lawyers in America in both construction law and construction litigation in 2011, and has been named among Pennsylvania Super Lawyers in Construction and Surety Law from 2006-2011.
Jones Day named Leon (Lee) DeJulius Jr. and Rebekah (Becky) Byers Kcehowski partners in the Pittsburgh office. Mr. DeJulius, who received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame, is a member of the trial practice and focuses on trial and appellate matters. Prior to joining Jones Day, Mr. DeJulius clerked for former U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist and U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Diarmuid F. O'Scannlain.
Ms. Kcehowski is also a member of the trial practice and focuses on corporate insurance counseling and litigation. After receiving her law degree from the University of Virginia, Ms. Kcehowski clerked for Judge Beverly B. Martin, of the Northern District of Georgia.
Ogg, Murphy & Perkosky (also known as "The Firm") has been named a "Tier 1" firm in the category of "plantiffs personal injury litigation" by U.S. News and Best Lawyers' 2011-2012 Best Law Firms rankings.
B3 Legal LLC, a New York-based legal staffing company and e-discovery consultant, opened an office in Downtown, at 322 Fourth Ave. B3 Legal, which is women-owned, works directly with law firms and corporate legal departments to reduce legal expenses. Helene Glick Landman is director of the Pittsburgh office, and Shawn G. McMahon is associate director.
Walsh, Collis and Blackmer, Attorneys at Law, joined Litchfield Cavo LLP, a national civil litigation defense firm, effective Jan. 1. With the addition of a Pittsburgh office, Litchfield Cavo will have 12 U.S. offices.
