Matis Baum O'Connor announced Cassidy L. Neal joined as an associate. Ms. Neal is a civil litigator and focuses her practice in health care litigation. Prior to joining Matis Baum O'Connor, she served as a law clerk.
Kelley Owen has joined Leech Tishman as chief financial officer. Prior to joining Leech Tishman, Ms. Owen was a tax principal at Urish Popeck & Co., where she specialized in corporate taxation and provided income tax consulting for public and privately held entities across a variety of industries. Her expertise include corporate restructuring.
Sherrard, German & Kelly, P.C. hired three new attorneys: Christopher Passodelis Jr., Megan Tymoczko-Korch and Curtis M. Schaffner. Mr. Passodelis has joined as a director in the firm's corporate services and litigation services groups. He provides counsel on general corporate and commercial matters, and assists clients with matters regarding the acquisition of commercial and residential property in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Ms. Tymoczko-Korch joined as a senior associate attorney in its corporate services group. Ms. Tymoczko-Korch's practice focuses on business and corporate transactions, including corporate governance and reorganizations.
Mr. Schaffner joined as an associate attorney in the firm's corporate services and financial services groups. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schaffner served as an attorney advisor to District Chief Administrative Law Judge Thomas M. Burke at the U.S. Department of Labor. He is a 2011 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law.
Julian E. Gray and Frank A. Petrich, certified elder law attorneys with Julian Gray Associates, have once again been listed among the Best Lawyers in America for 2013 in the area of elder law.
Picadio Sneath Miller & Norton said Alan S. Miller was elected chairman of the board of Allegheny Land Trust. Mr. Miller has served on the trust's board for eight years.
Lynch Weis, LLC said Neva L. Stanger joined as senior counsel and the head of the firm's employment practice group. With more than 20 years of experience in the labor and employment industry, Ms. Stanger represents public and private employers in employment discrimination, civil rights violations and various common law torts. She also counsels public and private employers on matters of personnel and human resources management issues related to Title VII, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, Fair Labor Standards Act and other federal and state workplace legislation. She received her law degree from West Virginia University College of Law.
Patrick C. Manning of Goehring, Rutter & Boehm was admitted to the Mahoning County Bar Association. Mr. Manning is a member of the firm's school and municipal law group, focusing on municipal creditor's rights and tax collection matters. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and all Ohio state courts.
Campbell & Levine was named the Top Mid-Sized Business Law Firm in Pennsylvania by Super Lawyers Business Edition 2012. Firm co-founders Douglas Campbell and Stanley Levine were also named to the Super Lawyers Top 50 Attorneys List for their bankruptcy work and Philip Milch and David Salzman were named Super Lawyers.
