Share with others:

Mark Vuono, president of the Allegheny County Bar Association, balances the duties of running a 6,400-member organization with running his own law practice.

Q: In the remaining six months of your term, what's your most important goal that you want to accomplish?

Vuono: We have a number of things percolating, some new initiatives. A lot of those are sort of internal at this point, and I'm not sure that we'll complete them in my term. But probably the ongoing programs that we have include our diversity initiatives for minority attorneys. We also have a really active young lawyers commission and I want to see them thrive and grow. They were recently awarded; the national Young Lawyers Division spring conference was awarded to Pittsburgh for 2013.
