Ipso facto ... Dick Thornburgh
At the age of 80, former Pennsylvania governor and U.S. Attorney General Dick Thornburgh is still showing up for work every day. Ipso Facto, the PG's legal blog, spoke with the K&L Gates attorney and Pitt alumnus about his role in the recent "Paterno report" and why he refuses to retire. Here's a preview:
Ipso Facto: What was the biggest mistake in the Freeh report?
Dick Thornburgh: They claimed to have conducted 430 interviews, but they didn't interview any of the relevant key witnesses. It's pretty hard to claim the report is worthy of respect in that regard.
