First Commonwealth Advisors, the wealth services arm of First Commonwealth Bank, hired Nina M. Baranchuk as senior vice president/chief investment officer.
S&T Bancorp Inc. appointed Gerald Tegethoff and Lisa Long as mortgage loan specialists. Mr. Tegethoff will be based in the bank's Butler office, and Ms. Long will work from the McMurray office.

The Washington Community Federal Credit Union hired Jamie Burgoyne as deposit operations department.

Arvind Venkat was named vice chair for research and faculty academic affairs in the department of emergency medicine of West Penn Allegheny Health System.

The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining announced the addition of three new members to its board of Directors. They are: Thomas R. Kurfess, professor, George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology; Michael D.
