Herbein + Co. Inc. hired Mary Hein as advanced staff accountant.

Associations & Organizations

The Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce announce the results of its recent board of directors elections and to welcome the following returning and incoming directors: Returning to the board for various terms are Alisa Faulk, Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh Airport Settlers Ridge; Jim Katsafanas, Michael Baker Corp.; Frank Polito, Comcast; and Don Smith, Robert Morris University. Newly elected to the board for varying terms are: Mike Belsky, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania; Kelly Engelbert, EATON Corp.; Neal Fanelli, Allegheny Medical Integrated Health Services; and George Stark, Cabot Oil & Gas Corp.

Banking

Washington Financial elected Mary Lyn Drewitz, chairman of its board. Ms. Drewitz is a partner at Goldfarb, Posner, Beck, DeHaven & Drewitz. In addition, Harry Stiffler Jr. joined as senior vice president and general counsel, and Robert Vettorel was promoted to senior vice president/wealth management division manager.

Contractor & Construction

Steve Bishop was promoted to vice president of Landau Building Co.

Burns & Scalo promoted Orlando Beck to commercial quality assurance manager, and Heather Maurer was hired as accounting clerk.

DQE Communications hired Tina Bayer as coordinator of outside plant engineering.

Winegardner & Hammons Inc. named Rick Antestenis general manager and Annie Tamburro sales account manager of the Courtyard Pittsburgh North/Cranberry Woods, set to open in the Cranberry Woods Business Park, Cranberry, in December 2012.

Manufacturing

Kennametal Inc. appointed William R. Newlin as its lead director. Mr. Newlin also continues to serve as chairman of the compensation committee and as a member of the nominating/corporate governance committee.

Museum

The Warhol Museum named Kilolo Luckett as director of development.

Nonprofit

Early Music America appointed Ann Felter, executive director.

Gateway Rehab appointed Paul Sweeney as its new chairman of the board.

Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania hired Jessica Minsterman, Krista Wentworth and Ashley Cycak as education program managers; Alex Stanzione, regional development specialist; Robert Zaremberg, development specialist; and Ethan Jameson, marketing assistant.

Jewish Family & Children's Service hired Brendan Coticchia, refugee employment specialist; Jackie Johns, donor/communications specialist; Devin Shuman, guardian caseworker; Bishnu Timsina, youth case worker-aide/interpreter; and Victoria Werderitch, refugee caseworker.

Technology

Matrix Solutions said Dana Yanni and Randy Morgan have joined as senior sales executives.
