Pittsburgh Logistics Systems (PLS Logistics Services) hired Jesse Spaziani, Michael Ward, Kyle Earle, Gary Bucuren, Nick Born and Ryan McConnell, account executive trainees, brokerage department; Brandon Berg, desktop support technician; Bill Boyd, agent manager; Mark Higgins, credit/collections specialist; and Bryan Sizer, Dyanne Wallis and Gregory Pecora, billing specialists.

Manufacturing

Kayla Geesey joined the customer service team at Gorell Windows & Doors as a customer service representative.

Media

Block Communications, Inc., the parent company of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and The Blade of Toledo, hired William A. Durbin as its chief information officer of newspapers. In that role, he will oversee the systems and technology of both the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and The Blade of Toledo.
