Joseph A. Molinero , president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters local 211 for the last 20 years, was sworn in to a four-year term as the president of the Joint Council 40, which covers Western Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia.
Jane Voros was named director of publication services for the American Economic Association. The 35-person publications staff is located in Pittsburgh and edits and produces seven journals, including the world's premier American Economic Review, as well as a database of economics literature, EconLit. Ms. Voros replaces Drucilla Ekwurzel, who retired after decades of service to the association.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland announced the following appointments at its Pittsburgh branch: Glenn R. Mahone , partner and attorney at law, Reed Smith LLP, Pittsburgh, was appointed chairman of the board; Charles L. Hammel III , president, PITT OHIO, was appointed a director; Dawne S. Hickton , vice chair, president and chief executive officer, RTI International Metals, Inc., was appointed director; and Petra Mitchell , president, Catalyst Connection, was reappointed to a second term as director.
