Landau Building Co. was contracted by UPMC Presbyterian and UPMC Shadyside to build a new operating room and other renovations. The project consists of a new clinical engineering laboratory and new operating room with special functions for a da Vinci Surgical Robot. The da Vinci Surgical System is a robotic surgical system made by Intuitive Surgical and designed to facilitate complex surgery using a minimally invasive approach. A completion date in July is anticipated. The architect is Radelet McCarthy Polletta.

Wyatt Inc. named McCrory & McDowell its corporate accounting and business advisory firm of record. McCrory & McDowell will provide audit, tax and business consulting services to Wyatt, which provides interior construction services for new construction, renovation and retrofit projects in private and public sectors.

Elisco Advertising's Creative Café added new clients.
CatholicMatch.com is the nation's premier Catholic dating site. Elisco created a series of Internet banner ads and a national radio spot for the company.
Fearless Leasing, a national provider of trucking services for oversized loads, gained recent publicity for transporting the locomotive for the movie "Unstoppable." Elisco helped rebrand the company and developed a new logo, corporate identity, website and brochure.
Tudi Mechanical Systems, one of the area's largest heating, air-conditioning and plumbing contractors, will work with Elisco to create two new corporate videos promoting their solutions.
Heyl & Patterson Inc., a specialist engineering company, is part of a team to be awarded with Power Engineering magazine's 2010 Coal-Fired Project of the Year. The project, "DryFining," created a new technology for coal-firing power plants that improves fuel quality, decreases volatile gas emissions, and reduces a plant's operating expenses and maintenance costs.

In the November 2010 issue of Qualified Remodeler Magazine, Legacy Remodeling was listed No. 83 on the list of "Exterior Contractor's Exterior 200." The prestigious list is part of the magazine's annual ranking of top exterior contractor and remodeling companies throughout the country.

BNY Mellon received a 2010 Green Power Leadership Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The annual awards recognize the country's leading green power purchasers for their commitment and contribution to helping advance the development of the nation's voluntary green power market. BNY Mellon was one of only 10 organizations nationwide to receive a Leadership Award in the Green Power Purchase category. The award recognizes EPA Green Power Partners who distinguish themselves through purchases of green power from a utility green-pricing program, a competitive green marketer or a renewable energy certificate supplier.
