Entertainment News Briefs: Bob Dylan rolls into region

Bob Dylan and his band will play Falconi Field, home of the Washington Wild Things, on Aug. 20.

The concert is part of the singer's third annual "Tour of America's Minor League Baseball Parks."

Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. July 15 through Ticketmaster. All seats are $49.50, and seating is general admission. One child under 12 will be admitted free with each paid adult ticket-holder.

Falconi Field also will be host to the Wild Things' Fifth Year Anniversary Concert. The July 29 event will feature Davy Jones, The Jaggers and The Skyliners. Tickets for all shows are available by calling 412-323-1919.

Live Nation ticket sale

Today only, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Live Nation Concert promoters are offering a one-day sale for the following shows at the Post-Gazette Pavilion:

July 7 -- Brad Paisley with Sara Evans and Josh Turner.

July 9 -- Sammy Hagar with Michael Anthony.

July 15 -- Counting Crows and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Aug. 11 -- Poison and Cinderella.

The offer will allow concert buyers to purchase one lawn or out-of-cover pavilion seat and get three seats free. All seating and shows must be the same. Call Ticketmaster at 412-323-1919 for information and to purchase.
