Brotherly love on late-night TV

Stepbrothers Austin Gohn, 17, and Mark Sciaruto, 20, of Bellevue, joined "Late Night With Conan O'Brien's" ongoing ode to a Horny Manatee, singing "My Hopeless Manatee" on Thursday's "Late Night With Conan O'Brien." They performed, for the first time ever, under the band name Rocket Me Nowhere. "Everyone was sending in pictures and stories and poems to the [Horny Manatee] Web site, and I said, 'Well, I can write a song,' so I sent that, and the next day I got a call from Conan's head writer and he asked us to come to New York," Sciaruto said. Now Sciaruto and Grohn, a junior at Northgate High School, are talking to NBC about a deal for the network to buy the song. A clip of the guys performing with the Max Weinberg 7 on "Late Night" can be found at www.hornymanatee.com/video9.shtml.
