Tim Benz will return to 105.9 The X tomorrow morning after suggesting on Friday that he might be leaving.

Mr. Benz became embroiled in a gun control debate after a post appeared on 105.9 The X's Facebook page that criticized Pittsburgh Tactical Firearms for promoting the giveaway of an AR-15 assault rifle and 1,000 rounds of ammunition.

"One thing I didn't get into radio for is to kick up controversy over gun ownership," Mr. Benz said in an interview at his home on Friday. "I guess I did that by accident."

Other than confirming he would be back on the morning show Wednesday, Mr. Benz did not say how he plans to address the controversy.

"Since this was a radio station issue, I should address it on the air before anywhere else," he wrote in a text message today.
