Radio's Delilah bringing paint project

Syndicated radio host Delilah is coming to paint the town next month.
The host of "Delilah After Dark" -- which airs locally on WSHH-FM (99.7) -- will be part of a volunteer community effort to paint several building exteriors in Lawrenceville. Her Paint the Town project was launched to inspire listeners to give their time to improving their communities. For the past three years, Paint the Town has been making stops in cities across the U.S.
She'll join local volunteers Sept. 8 starting at 8 a.m. through late afternoon.
Local volunteers also will work on a mural under the 40th Street Bridge and the new dog park near the Lawrenceville Riverfront Trail from Aug. 27 through Sept. 7. People who want to volunteer with the effort can sign up at the WSHH website -- http://www.wshh.com.
"Delilah After Dark" airs weekdays from 7 p.m. to midnight.
