A power outage in Green Tree caused intermittent broadcasts for a number of CBS local stations this morning, including 93.7 The Fan.

Michael Young, vice president and CBS Pittsburgh market manager, said an electrical panel to blew out at the station's facility in Green Tree. The panel included the circuitry that prompts an automatic switch to generator power.

Until the power link could be accessed manually, broadcasts on KDKA-FM, WBZZ-FM, WDSY-FM and The Fan were mostly off the air.

The event began around 7:40 a.m. and was resolved about two hours later. KDKA-AM was not affected.
