It's Myron Cope Day in Pittsburgh. Sports/talk WEAE-AM (1250) is paying tribute to the late sportscaster/talk host with features throughout the day. Today is the one-year anniversary of Cope's passing.

The station will air vintage audio clips of Cope, along with memories from friends and fans. Mayor Luke Ravenstahl will deliver the official city proclamation for Myron Cope Day on the air at 11:15 a.m.
