Wiz Khalifa is nominated for two Grammys

Wiz Khalifa can now use the adjective "Grammy-nominated" in front of his name.

The Pittsburgh rapper was nominated for two Grammy Awards last night: Best Rap Song and Best Performance for his hometown anthem, "Black and Yellow," which went to No. 1 during the Steelers' run to the Super Bowl.

Surprisingly, Khalifa was passed over for Best New Artist -- a nomination he got at both the MTV Video Music Awards and the American Music Awards -- in favor of The Band Perry, Bon Iver, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj and Skrillex.

Also, Wexford's own Christina Aguilera was nominated with Maroon 5 for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the single "Moves Like Jagger."
